We are looking for a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural components of various building and construction projects. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that designs are safe, cost-effective, and meet all required regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural Design: Develop and design structural systems for buildings and other construction projects, ensuring safety, stability, and functionality.
- Collaboration: Work with architects and multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
- Code Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Detailed Analysis: Perform structural calculations and simulations to validate design choices and guarantee structural integrity.
- Construction Oversight: Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure construction aligns with design specifications.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed design reports, calculations, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve design challenges, ensuring solutions are practical and meet project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in structural design engineering, with a strong understanding of building materials and construction methods.
- Proficiency in structural design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, SAP2000).
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and structural engineering principles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed structural analysis and perform design calculations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with project teams and clients.
